Terganggunya kesehatan jiwa akan mempengaruhi semua aspek dalam kehidupan termasuk fungsi hubungan sosial dan pekerjaan, &nbsp;menjadi beban global dengan depresi sebagai kontributor utama (Vigo, Thornicroft, dan Atun, 2016). Perlu adanya pengembangan strategi preventif untuk kasus kesehatan jiwa (Mc laughin, 2011).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kegiatan fisik seperti senam merupakan aktivitas preventif yang baik dalam kesehatan baik jiwa maupun raga (Garber et all, 2011). Salah satu manfaat dan keuntungan dalam aktivitas fisik senam adalah dalam hal psikososial<a> <\/a>(Sieverdes et.all., 2011). Seperti contoh aktivitas fisik dapat menurunkan gejala depresi pada seseorang yang terdiagnosis gangguan depresi major, dengan penyakit penyerta kanker maupun pada orang dewasa yang sehat (US Department Of Health, 2008).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Tidak terlalu mengejutkan bahwa aktivitas fisik yang baik berhubungan dengan kesehatan fisik seseorang.
