Sebagai bentuk nyata kepedulian terhadap pendidikan dan perkembangan anak sejak usia dini, UKM English Club<\/strong> kembali menyelenggarakan kegiatan sosial-edukatif bertajuk \u201cEnglish for Community\u201d<\/strong>. Kegiatan ini mengusung tema \u201cEnglish for Community. Learn, Share, Inspire\u201d<\/strong>, yang menekankan pentingnya proses belajar bahasa Inggris yang menyenangkan, bermakna, serta mampu menumbuhkan semangat berbagi dan kepedulian sosial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main activities of this program include basic English learning sessions, fun and educational games, as well as donation activities in the form of food and learning supplies<\/strong>. Seluruh rangkaian kegiatan dikemas dengan pendekatan yang friendly dan komunikatif agar peserta merasa comfortable, confident, and motivated to use English in simple daily expressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kegiatan English for Community<\/strong> will be held on 21 February 2026<\/strong>, at a panti asuhan<\/strong> Zahra Al-Fatih Kediri, with the main agenda focusing on fun learning and social sharing activities.
Through this short but impactful program, the committee hopes to create a joyful learning environment and positive learning experience for the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main target of this program is children at the elementary to junior high school level (SD\u2013SMP)<\/strong> who live in the orphanage. Anak-anak pada jenjang tersebut memiliki strong potential to develop their English skills, namun masih memiliki limited access to proper English learning opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through English for Community<\/em>, UKM English Club is committed to building an inclusive learning space where children can learn together, share happiness, and feel inspired<\/strong>.
This program is not only about teaching English, but also about spreading kindness, building confidence, and empowering young learners to dream bigger for their future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the implementation of English for Community<\/em>, organized by UKM English Club<\/strong>, the activity will start with an ice breaking session called \u201cSimon Says\u201d<\/strong> to create a fun and friendly atmosphere. This activity is designed to train students\u2019 listening skills<\/em> and help them understand simple English instructions in an enjoyable way. The game is very suitable for SD\u2013SMP students because it is easy, interactive, and keeps the participants active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the ice breaking session, the main material will focus on \u201cParts of Body\u201d<\/strong>. In this session, participants will learn basic vocabulary such as head, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands, legs,<\/em> and feet<\/em>. The material will be delivered using pointing activities, body movement, repetition, and simple games<\/strong>, so the students can learn English while moving and having fun.
