“mommy, when will corona go?”
That is a question from my son to me in this morning. He has asked me that question for several times. Maybe he feels bored, because he can not go to anywhere since the corona pandemic.
Corona pandemic has been a global disaster January 2020. This pandemic has affected many aspects of our life living, whether our daily activities or others. We can not go to everyplace that we have to. It also effect in education system. During this pandemic, students can not go to school. They have to stay at home. It makes the education process is stopped, and when the process is stop it will caused many disadvantages, especially for the students. They can not get what they should get.
Since the students have to stay at home, as the education provider, we have to provide a new way to give their students need. This pandemic makes my institution, IIK Bhakti Wiyata, to improving the teaching method. My institution makes policies. The class was conducted online. My institution already has the e-learning platform for the online class.
The other impact of this pandemic is that we can not go anywhere freely. we have to stay at home, so we will not get influence by the viruses. To stay at home, is very a pleasure thing, but not in this situation. Because of this situation (the pandemic), even though we stay at home with our family, we can do nothing. And it happens in a long time, for almost 6 months. A bored feel can come up from this.
The family violence also increase. The pandemic cause people can not go to work, and some of them got fired by their company. the people do not have an income to fulfill their daily needs. They got stressed, and it triggers their anger. For those who have family, they will vent their anger to family.
There just many effects of this corona pandemic that I have not mentioned yet. I just mentioned some of them. Lets hope this pandemic will end soon, so we can get our life back just like before the pandemic.
